We're delighted to announce a new partnership with outdoor retailer Mountain Warehouse, who will be donating the proceeds from their carrier bag charge from their stores in Wales to support our rewilding work in Cwm Doethie, near Tregaron in Mid Wales.
This collaboration shows the major UK outdoor retailers support of nature recovery and funds raised will directly support Tir Natur’s work restoring habitats and improving biodiversity across their flagship site at Cwm Doethïe.
Mark Neale, Founder & CEO at Mountain Warehouse said:
“We’re delighted to support Tir Natur through our Welsh carrier bag charge donations. The charity’s work to protect and restore nature in Wales is incredibly important, and we're proud that these funds will help to preserve these special places for future generations.”
Tir Natur welcomed the partnership as a significant boost to its nature recovery work.

Gwenni Jenkins-Jones, Fundraising Manager at Tir Natur said:
“We’re incredibly happy to be working with Mountain Warehouse. Their support will help accelerate our rewilding work and strengthen the resilience of Welsh ecosystems. It’s inspiring to see a major retailer championing nature recovery in such a tangible way.”
The donation is part of Tir Natur £500k fundraising appeal to help pay for the land and expand the rewilding work already underway along with supporting early project activity and creating new local jobs.
